Skeet Jones grew up in the wide open spaces of West Texas and was brought up to love hunting and the great outdoors. Skeet began his calling career at 14 years of age. Armed with a call made by his great great uncle A.L. Lindsey (a pioneer in the predator hunting industry) and a lot of determination, Skeet called in his first coyote. From that day on he was hooked and he began calling predators on a regular basis. Skeet also trapped as a kid and has sold many a pelt. In 1980 he had grown into a predator hunting addict, calling on any night that he had free time. His passion began to grow into more of a way of life than a hobby. In 1981 Skeet harvested 141 coyotes, 11 bobcats, 10 fox, and 2 badgers. Through the years he's honed his skills while harvesting thousands of coyotes. Skeet has developed a good rapport with many ranchers and landowners gaining him access to over a million acres of prime coyote habitat. On any given day you can find Skeet working on his ranch, spending time with his family, or helping cowboy for his neighbors (not to mention spending a little time calling also). Skeet has come along way since his humble start as a 14 year old kid with a hand me down call. He now runs one of the best guide services in the country, with people coming from all over the states to hunt each year with him.
