Welcome to Predator Pursuit. My name is Tony Tebbe and I live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with my wife, three daughters, and son. I'll be the first to tell you that I am 100 percent addicted to calling predators. I used to hunt all types of game animals like, deer, turkey, pheasant, quail, rabbits, squirrels, duck, goose, elk, etc. I've got the Predator Addiction and now I live, sleep, and breathe calling predators, mostly coyotes. Here is where it all began. I started calling coyotes at the age of 14 on my parents' ranch in Central Illinois. A couple years later I got my driver's license - it was all over! I was gone every afternoon, night, and weekend calling. In my twenties, I started running coyotes with dogs. I had 22 coyote dogs at one time. I raised foxhounds, greyhounds, and greyhound crosses. I was known for my catch dogs and was very productive. Many weekends were spent catching coyotes across Central Illinois. Though it was a fun and exciting time, calling predators was my true love. In 1991, I went on a 10 day self-hunt for elk in Colorado. I arrived 2 days prior to opening day. As usual, I had a predator rifle and some hand calls with me. I spent 2 days of calling and bagged 13 coyotes. I shot a nice 5x5 bull on opening day. Though I was totally excited about bagging my first elk, the following day found me backed up to a nice sagebrush calling coyotes again. It was at that moment that it dawned on me that I was 100% hooked on calling. When I returned home, the dogs were sold and my focus on calling coyotes has been 100percent since then. Each fall and winter, you can find me on calling stands in 8 to 10 states. This gives me an opportunity to tweak and adjust my scouting, calling tactics, and stand selection in a wide variety of terrain. I've had the opportunity to secure vast amounts of private land with solid and simple tactics learned from my dad - a firm handshake and an honest smile. On average, my calling partners and I harvest 90-100 coyotes per season. Besides pursuing predators, I own and operate TT Custom Predator Calls. I focus on building custom distress calls and howlers. I started building calls in 2002, as I wasn't pleased with the sound and functionality in most of the production calls and howlers on the market. The driving force behind each 'TT' call is simple: Easy to use with good volume and great sound quality. I am introducing a line of my own production calls this season. Jeff, Todd and the entire Pro Staff at Predator Pursuit are a great bunch of people. We're dedicated to bringing you exciting action and top notch advice. I was very pleased to join the Pro Staff with Jeff and Todd. I only associate with good people that have a lot of energy and pride in whatever they do. I personally believe you will find this excitement, solid sincerity, and passion in each Predator Pursuit video produced. If you want to discuss anything with me, you can find my contact information on my website: www.custompredatorcalls.com.
Great hunting,
Tony Tebbe
